The Loerie Hide
We offer two cottages nestling at the bottom of our precipitous garden, which forms part of the Nahoon river ecosystem. The riverine forest with its numerous varieties of indigenous trees has an abundance of bird life. Enjoy the comforts and little luxuries of home in our rooms which are decorated in either country florals or African prints complemented by cottage antiques or fresh white cane.

Breakfast is served on the deck overlooking the valley (weather permitting). A continental breakfast basket is also available for any early departures.

Country Court
We offer an upmarket B & B at Country Court, which has 9 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping 18 guests in single beds, and one self-catering cottage, fully-contained, sleeping 2 adults and up to 3 children in bunks.

Our gracious homely country residence, is set deep in the scenic Horseshoe Valley, on the banks of the Nahoon River in an unspoiled conservancy area, on the first banana plantation in the Eastern Cape. Enjoy an African experience in our Xhosa Hut (suitable for enrichment camps and backpackers).

"40 Winks" Cottage
"40 Winks" Cottage is set in pleasant surroundings close to the East London Esplanade and can sleep three to four people. Although the cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen for those who wish to cater for themselves, breakfast packs are available on request.

With its own private entrance and secure parking, the cottage is only a few minutes walk away from the Beach, the CBD and a selection of banks, shops & restaurants.

The Gate House is conveniently situated in the beachfront suburb of the Quigney, offering guests a warm, relaxing home from home atmosphere.

Blue Lagoon Hotel

Overlooking the site where the Nahoon River meets the warm Indian Ocean, the Blue Lagoon lies nestled in indigenous, sub-tropical foliage. Easily accessible and close to central East London and inland areas, the hotel offers tranquility and seclusion from the bustle of city life.

The Crowned Crane
The Crowned Crane has a warm atmosphere, as well as a family of Guinea Fowl to amuse our guests. Superhost of East London Tourism.

In heart of Gonubie lies the 8ha Gonubie Nature Reserve. The reserve is home to rare indigenous flora and is a bird-lovers paradise with over 130 different birds species - including the Crowned Crane.
